Before you meet

Chat in the app first. Keep your conversation here until you feel sure.

Look at their profile, portfolio and exchange history.

Don't share your home address, bank details or other private information in early messages.

The first time

We recommend meeting somewhere public: a café, a park, a studio. Not at someone's home.

Tell a friend where you're going and who you're meeting, and when you'll be back.

If an exchange needs a home or private space later (a haircut, a lesson), only once you've met and feel comfortable. Bring a friend if you like.

Trust yourself

You can cancel or leave at any time, for any reason. You don't owe anyone an exchange.

If someone pressures you, asks for money, or makes you uncomfortable: stop, block them, and report them.
